Wiegand’s Nursery App Refresh
Wiegand’s Nursery is a nearly 160-year-old company operating in Macomb, Michigan. The brand is beloved and trusted by local hobby gardeners and professional contractors alike. The company is seeking a brand refresh, with the goal of modernizing their web and mobile presence to make their products more accessible. 
I was tasked with refreshing the design of their mobile app with these key aspects in mind:
• Preserve all essential functionality
• Improve long-term technical stability
• Introduce secure contractor login
• Add a Retail Pricing section
• Align the app visually with the new Shopify website
• Improve usability without dramatically expanding scope
Original Design
We needed to retain a lot of the original functionality of the app- we did not want to confuse existing clientele. They’re used to the app looking and functioning a certain way, and to change too much might turn people off. The goal overall was to give the app a facelift by adding a little more visual intrigue through use of imagery and icons.
